Christine Fare 
Director

Christine has a wealth of diverse procurement and supply chain experience which has been recognised because she has been made a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing in 2019. As a Procurement and Supply Chain specialist she has expertise in all aspects of the Product lifecycle, with over 20 years’ experience, working within the Aerospace Industry.
A key strength is the enthusiastic approach to problem resolution, she drives an energy which is infectious across her team and beyond. 

Christine’s career  started in 1989 when she worked on all major aircraft defence programmes building up her Procurement knowledge. In that time she delivered full contract mobilisation of the Typhoon programme, managing a team, preparing key suppliers for full rate readiness. Latterly lead a full operational team providing a spares and repairs service growing the service to provide a global support solution that would service 3000 jets.

Her career then moved to procurement of large capital investments ranging from Aerodrome vehicles to large complex test facilities, including contract construct, supplier sourcing, negotiation and contract delivery.

Strategically she has developed innovative solutions that looked at ways to leverage equipment categories across aircraft programmes that could take out costs up to 20%.

Alongside this varied career Christine has delivered training from Leadership and Development through to Procurement specialist courses to MSc / MBA level students at Lancaster University Business Management school. 

Christine regularly speaks at Manchester Met University as a specialist and as a Fellow works with Chartered Institute of Purchasing Northern Office as the Education Liaison lead promoting the Procurement profession.
